Siboniso Dlamini (born July 7, 1989), known by his stage name Msawawa, is a South African Kwaito singer. He released the song “Big & Small” with Tsekeleke and “Le Mfundo” with DJ Bongz, Noycdee, and Terence Da Poet.

Early Life
Msawawa was born on July 7, 1989, in Clermont, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, to Leonard Dlamini. He grew up alongside his brother, Obed.
Education
Msawawa attended Jules High School in Malvern, Johannesburg. He made headlines in 2007 when he reportedly missed 57 days of classes.
During the height of his childhood stardom, his father served as his manager.
Career
Msawawa broke onto the music scene in 1998 as part of a duo with fellow child star Mzambiya.
The duo, discovered by Nimrod Nkosi and Oscar Mlangeni of Bulldawgz Entertainment, released successful tracks like “eZola” and “Wawungakanani.” They also joined a United Nations mission representing global youth.
As a solo artist, he released his first album, The Hurricane, in 2001, followed by Home Sweet Home in 2003. He collaborated with Tsekeleke to release “Big & Small” in 2004, and with DJ Bongz, Noycdee, and Terence Da Poet on the song “Le Mfundo”.
He dropped the singles “Izinja Zam” featuring Mroza Fakude in 2017, “Bayeza” in 2022, and “IZANDLA PHEZULU” in 2024. He fired his father as manager and reunited with Oscar Mlangeni in 2002.
Msawawa underwent a spiritual shift, transitioning into gospel music with the track “Thandaza.” He has won two Metro FM Awards for Best Newcomer and Song of the Year for his contributions to the industry.
Aside from music, Dlamini is an entrepreneur. He runs Msawawa Music Production and has ventured into the food industry with a Tshisa Nyama in Clermont.
He also owns the Msawawa Youth Charity Foundation, the Msawawa Artist Development organization, and the Msawawa Dancing Academy.
In December 2023, he demonstrated his commitment to giving back to society by hosting a Christmas celebration for 100 grandmothers and approximately 4,000 children.
Personal Life
Msawawa was previously in a relationship with Angela Gwala. The couple scheduled a traditional wedding (izibizo) and white wedding for December 7 in Eshowe, but ultimately separated.
