Lindie Strydom (born March 16, 1978) is a South African actress, public speaker, author, and presenter.
She is best known for her long-standing role as Karin Edwards Schoeman in the soap opera Egoli: Place of Gold. She currently portrays the character Amanda in the kykNET series Suidooster.

Early Life
Lindie was born in Oudtshoorn and spent her childhood in Mossel Bay. She completed her high school education in Port Elizabeth, matriculating in 1996.
Career
Strydom made her acting debut in January 1997. She spent 12 years, from Season 8 through Season 18, portraying Karin Edwards, a farm girl from Okahandja, on Egoli: Place of Gold.
In the kykNET soap opera Suidooster, she plays Amanda van Wyk, a relationship specialist and psychologist.
Beyond acting, Lindie is a prolific media personality. She has hosted kykNET programs such as Geloof, Hoop en Liefde, and DKNT Gospel.
Her experience includes content production, marketing, and community project management for organizations like GROOTfm 90.5 and Solidariteit Helpende Hand.
She is also a published writer and a frequent motivational speaker. In September 2021, she participated in the SPAR Women’s Virtual Challenge.
Personal Life
Lindie married Johann Strydom on January 12, 2002, and they celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in 2022. They are parents to three children, an elder son named Paul, and twins named Hugo and Nina.
