Unarine Rambani (born 7 March 1996), professionally known as Una Rams, is a South African singer, songwriter, and producer. He is best known for tracks like Girls Like You and Tshinakaho.
Una was featured on Idris Elba’s 2024 single “Go Deeper”. He has also collaborated with artists like Shekhinah, Seyi Shay, and Muzi. He rose to global prominence as a Grammy-winning contributor to Black Coffee’s 2021 album, Subconsciously.

Early Life
Unarine Rambani was born on 7 March 1996 in Makwarela, Limpopo. He is the third child of six children and was raised by his parents, who were teachers.
Una fell in love with music after being exposed to music by his uncle, a figure in the Gospel industry. He then joined and sang in a Venda church choir.
While in fourth grade, Una and his brother formed a boy band. With his brother producing beats on a computer and Una writing his very first verse, they prepared for their debut school performance. However, when the CD player failed, the duo switched to live beatboxing.
Education
Una obtained a degree in Computer Science from the University of Pretoria in 2018.
Career
Una Rams ventured into music professionally with the debut single “Nobody” in 2016. After some years of making music, he met the producer C-Tea, who developed his sound. He released his debut EP, Wavy Baby EP, in 2018.
Una was the latest local artist to be spotlighted under Apple Music’s Up Next playlist. He released the project, Hold Me When it’s Cold: A Mixtape, in 2021. The seven-track features guest appearances by Langa Mavuso, Muzi and Lucille Slide.

Some of the songs from the album include “Who Do I call?” (feat. Lucille Slade), “btb” (feat. Blxckie), “rendezvous” (feat. Nanette), “closer2you” (feat. Muzi), and “ndo tou rali” (feat. Mizo Phyll & Maeywon).
Una Rams released the single Sixth Sense (feat. C-Tea & Shekhinah) and Murder (feat. C-Tea & Seyi Shay) in 2018. He was also featured on Muzi’s single Chocolate Dreams.
In 2025, he released his debut studio album, Meet Me at the Altar. He earned a Grammy for his vocal and writing contribution to the song “Flava” on Black Coffee’s award-winning album Subconsciously.
Personal Life
Una Rams married actress Ntando Duma-Rambani in 2025. The duo has a white wedding at Suitability Gardens in Walkerville. The couple first met at the Royal Heritage Festival and dated for months before their traditional wedding.
Una and his wife were featured as the cover stars for the June 2025 issue of Previdar Weddings Magazine.
