Anita Lloyd (born 12 July 1967) is a South African reality television personality. She is best known as a cast member of the kykNET series Die Real Housewives van die Wynlande.

Early Life
Anita Lloyd was born on 12 July 1967 to Jan and Anne Vorster. When she was eight, she lost her mother to kidney failure. Two years later, her father died of a heart attack.
After she lost both parents, Anita then packed her bags and Barbie dolls and moved in with her friend, Ren. Her friend’s parents, Harry and Yvonne Meintjies, raised her.
Education
After matriculating, she enrolled at the University of the Free State (UFS). She holds a Master of linguistics degree.
Career
Anita worked as a teacher for 25 years after moving to Johannesburg. She quit her job as a teacher to support her husband’s career.
She was an academic assistant at the university’s language department during her honours years. She also worked on Saturdays as a floor assistant at Edgars.
She also appeared as a cast member on the kykNET reality show “Die Real Housewives van die Wynlande”.
Personal Life
Anita Lloyd is married to Boyce Lloyd. They have known each other for over four decades and have been married for over 34 years. They met in high school.
She made headlines for a significant physical transformation after losing 20kg. She cut out starch and sugar from her diet, and reserved alcohol for special occasions. She also used supplements and injections to keep her appetite in check.
